I caught the shutter bug from my father Chuck Jackson Sr. (still living in Los Angeles). My dad was a well
known photographer in Hollywood California for several years back in the early 70's. My dad phased out of photography
due to the lack of succession or not being able to pass the business on to a qualified person in our family at that time.
Some years later, I started to phase into the business. My business is partly to honor my father for the
art, skill and hussle that he has past along to me. (Son here is a camera....you will never be broke!)
I
have lived in the Kansas City for several years now. I have one 8 year old little girl named Taylor. In addition,
I am finishing my last year in engineering school at the University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC) where I hope to earn my
B.S. in Civil Engineering. When I'm not taking pictures, I play trumpet for my church Greater Pentecostal Temple KC,
Ks each week.
I find that to be successful in life one should follow their dreams....
The quest to
be the best father, engineer, photographer and musician are my drive and passion.
Thanks,
Vic Jackson
